Below is a list of the most commonly requested items available for rental through LJ's Discount Medical. Availability will be dependent on inventory and the amount of lead time provided. 

All items come with the option to rent by the week or by the month. If the rental items required are not available, LJ's Discount Medical will do their best to procure the requested equipment in time for the rental period needed.

Manual Mobility Equipment:

  •     Standard Wheelchair with footrests
  •     Elevating Leg Rests (ELRs)
  •     Reclining Wheelchair
  •     Transport Wheelchair
  •     Turning Leg Caddy (aka Knee Walker)
  •     Rollator (a rolling walker w/seat, hand brakes)
  •     Quad Cane (w/ a Lrg. or Sm. Base)
  •     Crutches
  •     Walker Platform Attachment
  •     Folding Walker (either standard or w/ wheels and/or glides)


Powered Mobility Equipment:

  •     Power Wheelchair (aka a powerchair or pwc. It uses a joystick controller)
  • Power Scooter (3 or 4 wheels, uses a steering tiller or handlebars)
    •    (all powered equipment comes with it’s own charging system.)


Stationary In-room Equipment:

  •     Lift Chair (375# cap.)
  •     Hospital Bed w/ side rails
  •     Hospital Bed Trapeze
  •     Trapeze w / floor stand
  •     Over Bed Table, adjustable
  •     Patient Lift – manual
  •     Patient Lift – electric


Suitcase Ramps:

  •     3 ft. Bi-Fold Ramp
  •     4 ft. Bi-Fold Ramp

  •     10 ft. Tri-Fold Ramp
